Father Denis McBride, a Redemptorist priest & international
speaker on the New Testament, has lectured to a wide variety of groups, presenting classes on the person of
Jesus and the writing of the Gospels. He has spoken to lay people, priests & bishops, religious congregations
& university students, in Europe, North America, East Africa, Arabia & several countries in Asia. His
course on Jesus & the Gospels was recorded at Hawkstone Hall, International Pastoral Centre,
Oxford, England, where Fr. Denis is the Director of Courses. Not only does Fr. Denis do an excellent job of teaching the gospels, but he vividly relates what happens to our own personal, religious experience. The gospels come to life and we are invited to live them through our faith life and activities today. Fr. Denis McBride, CSsR will be giving our 2005 Advent Parish Retreat.
